What we collect
When you use Tonify, we collect the text you submit for translation, your selected tone and context preferences, and basic usage data such as word counts to enforce your daily limit or credit balance. If you create an account, we store your email address and plan information.
How we use your data
Your text is sent to Anthropic's API to perform the translation. We do not store the content of your translations beyond the duration of your session. Usage data is stored to track your daily word limit and credit balance. We do not sell your data to third parties.
Third-party services
Tonify uses Anthropic to process translations, Supabase to store account and usage data, and Stripe to process payments. Each of these services has its own privacy policy governing how they handle your data.
Cookies
We use minimal cookies necessary for the service to function, such as session tokens to keep you logged in. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
Data retention
Account data is retained for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing hello@tonify.online.
